Join Jo for the day to explore the fascinating links between Ayurveda and Yoga, the former is a sister science of Yoga sharing the same ancient roots. Ayurveda is the Vedic discipline for health of the mind and body, while classical Yoga is the corresponding system of spiritual practice.
At the start of the day Jo will give a talk about the connections between Ayurveda and Yoga specifically in relation to the practice of asanas relative to your constitutional type. She has found understanding her constitutional type has given her a unique perspective as a yoga practitioner.
Jo is a Level 3 Iyengar Yoga teacher with 22 years teaching experience and is also a registered Iyengar Yoga Therapy teacher. In addition, she is also a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner and member of the Ayurveda Practitioners Association UK. Jo’s interest in Ayurveda started in 2006 while on a sabbatical studying yoga in India.
Jo aims to bring the Ayurveda and Yoga connections to life in this full day workshop. There will be a general Question & Answer session included.
